This's a story about Cara, a woman in a desperate situation. At an upscale hotel bar, Cara's credit card is declined while she's trying to enjoy a drink. Alone in a strange city with no friends, income, or prospects, and on the run from her violent ex-husband Christopher, she faces the possibility of being thrown out. Eros Kahzan, a tall, handsome, and powerful man, intervenes and pays for her drink. He then offers to take her to dinner, and Cara, despite her initial hesitation and suspicion, agrees.
